9. Who do you admire in our sector - male or female - and why?
 
1. Deborah White, Housing and Communities Director of West Kent for her combination of leadership, inspiration, vision, hard work, fun personality, passion, compassion, belief and commitment to our sector.
 
2. Both male and female, it is not about your sex it is about the individual and their contribution to the sector that counts.
 
3. Sandi Rhys Jones - one of the women who has made it to the top on merit. Fiona Alfred - has directed Women in Property through many years.
 
4. Any housing officer, i did the job 20 years ago and admire anyone who is doing the work now in much more difficult circumstances.
 
5. I don't admire her exactly, but I think my current line manager does her job well, within her limited defnition of her job.
 
6. Anyone who is willing to rise above the entrenched attitudes and to try to make a real cultural and attitudinal difference. Most people work in this sector all their lives, we still have many learned behaviours from the last 30 years or more. Change is a very slow process, but a lot has improved in the last 10 years.
