Connect Housing is a well-regarded not-for-profit housing and support provider based in Leeds and Dewsbury, operating across West Yorkshire.

Our passion is for a fairer society where people’s homes, health and happiness matter.

We invest our resources into the communities we serve as a developer of new homes and as a provider of services that support health and adult social care needs.

About you
Ideally living or working in the Yorkshire area, as a Board member you will set our vision and overall strategic direction, ensuring that we continue to deliver quality services in these challenging times.

The role of the Board has never been more important. You will be responsible for ensuring that Connect is viable, properly governed and efficiently managed.

Whether you have substantial or limited experience serving on a committee, we would particularly welcome applications from health, social care, finance, IT, property development and asset management professionals, as well as people with commercial awareness and skills in business planning and risk management.

In return for sharing your skills and time with us, we will offer you training, personal development opportunities and the opportunity to develop creative solutions to current issues.

Our Board is quite representative of the communities we serve but we would be delighted to welcome BME applicants with the skills and experience we are looking for.
