Dee O Neill

Dee holds a BSc in Psychology and is a member of both the Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Housing.

She has over twenty years experience of the construction industry with the previous six years focused on the affordable housing sector.

In her current role as Business Development Manager at Wates Living Space, she has responsibility for generating new revenue and maximising existing accounts, as well as ensuring campaigns deliver against client expectations. Working closely with Housing Associations and Local Authorities she provides support to client in rationalising existing stock and bringing forward new build opportunities.

Dee is a board member of Probus Housing Society and Greenoak Housing Association and is also involved in a mentoring programme for young people in Portsmouth.

Previous to joining the social housing sector she was Strategic Account Manager at a number of national construction companies where she worked closely with large Blue Chip companies in developing out new construction projects and has been involved in a number of large high profile schemes throughout the Southeast.

With a background also in marketing and brand awareness she has been instrumental in launching construction companies into new areas/sectors of business. Through her experience of change management she has a methodical and rigorous approach to achieving tasks and objectives, is a loyal and determined team player and seeks and finds solutions to challenges.

Dee spent a number of years working in America and Australia in a customer focused environment before returning to the UK to take up her career in construction.
