Nicola has over twenty years experience in the social housing sector after completing a degree in Housing at Bristol Polytechnic. Her career has focussed on development which she has always had a passion for. After working for Notting Hill Housing Trust as Area Development Manager, she capitalised on her transferable skills by working on land led partnership schemes with housebuilders and mixed tenure regeneration projects with a number of Contractors.
Nicola is now Business Development Director for GB Building Solutions which is a strategic role also encompassing PR and marketing responsibilities as well as a place on the newly created Sustainability Forum which she initiated.
Nicola is fortunate to have worked in a variety of roles in both the public and private sector and is committed to working in a collaborative and supportive way – having secured many project successes by coordinating a focussed, team approach. She is involved in mentoring younger colleagues at GBBS and effectively communicating with, and influencing, the all male Senior Management Team on which she sits.
