Inclusion is all of our business.

We at WISH love to champion inclusivity and this event is an opportunity for us to talk about how we can all support equality in our organisations; to support everyone to thrive, develop and grow.

Everyone, at every level of an organisation, has an active role to play.  Join the conversation about why it matters that we all play our part and how you can be the challenge that makes the change.

Lucy Malarky, Positive about Inclusion, joins us to talk about why ED&I matters for everyone.  Lucy will talk us through why inclusion is all of our business and importantly, how we can create an inclusive place for everyone to work. 

Lucy says "on a journey to an inclusive culture, a culture that embraces equity and truly values diversity, everyone has a role to play, because it doesn’t matter how committed an organisation may say that it is, how brilliant their statements are on the website or how active their Board and executive teams are at championing the agenda, if the people who work there just don’t feel it then all of that counts for nothing."

We’re also really pleased to welcome Ceri Meloy from Tai Pawb to continue the talk about equality in the workplace and how their QED award is inspiring organisations like yours to embrace quality, diversity and inclusion. 

Tai Pawb work with Welsh Government and other decision makers to make sure equality is integral to housing policy in Wales. Tai Pawb also raises awareness of housing and wider inequality issues facing people with protected characteristics.

Ceri from Tai Pawb said that "We want providers, politicians, tenants and others to be aware of the problems people from protected groups face so that we can work together on finding solutions."

Rydym ni yn WISH wrth ein bodd bod yn bencampwr ar gynwysoldeb ac mae'r digwyddiad hwn yn gyfle i ni siarad am sut y gallwn ni i gyd gefnogi cydraddoldeb yn ein sefydliadau; i gefnogi pawb i ffynnu, datblygu a thyfu.

Mae gan bawb, ar bob lefel o fewn sefydliad, rôl weithredol i'w chwarae.  Ymunwch yn y sgwrs am pam ei bod yn bwysig ein bod ni i gyd gwneud ein rhan a sut y gallwch chi fod yr her sy'n gwneud y newid.

Mae Lucy Malarky, Positive About Inclusion, yn ymuno â ni i siarad am pam mae C,A ac C yn bwysig i bawb.  Bydd Lucy yn ein tywys drwy pam fod cynhwysiant o bwys i ni gyd a sut gallwn greu lle cynhwysol i bawb weithio. 

Meddai Lucy "Ar daith i ddiwylliant cynhwysol, diwylliant sy'n cofleidio tegwch ac yn gwerthfawrogi amrywiaeth, mae gan bawb rôl i'w chwarae, oherwydd does dim ots pa mor ymrwymedig y gall sefydliad ddweud ei fod, pa mor wych yw eu datganiadau ar y wefan na pha mor weithgar yw eu Bwrdd a'u timau gweithredol wrth hyrwyddo'r agenda, os nad yw'r bobl sy'n gweithio yno yn teimlo hynny yna nid yw yn golygu dim."

Rydym hefyd yn falch iawn o groesawu Ceri Meloy o Tai Pawb i barhau â'r sgwrs am gydraddoldeb yn y gweithle a sut mae eu gwobr QED yn ysbrydoli sefydliadau fel eich un chi i gofleidio ansawdd, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant. 

Mae Tai Pawb yn gweithio gyda Llywodraeth Cymru a'r rhai sy'n gwneud penderfyniadau eraill i sicrhau bod cydraddoldeb yn rhan annatod o bolisi tai yng Nghymru. Mae Tai Pawb hefyd yn codi ymwybyddiaeth o dai a materion anghydraddoldeb ehangach sy'n wynebu pobl â nodweddion gwarchodedig.

Meddai Ceri o Tai Pawb "Rydym am i ddarparwyr, gwleidyddion, tenantiaid ac eraill fod yn ymwybodol o'r problemau y mae pobl o grwpiau gwarchodedig yn eu hwynebu fel y gallwn weithio gyda'n gilydd i ddod o hyd i atebion."
