PRESENTATION SKILLS

DARE TO BE (a little) DIFFERENT

There are moments for all of us when we need to stand-up and say something well. It may be in a quick meeting to three people. It may be to a theatre of 200 people. It will always feel harder than it should.

In this workshop we will explore:

– WHY we feel nervous standing up to speak, WHY it is perfectly natural (if rather inconvenient), and HOW we can control those pesky butterflies.

– HOW the audience craves two things (and often gets neither):

Sincerity: you being your true self

Variety: sharing ideas in different ways.

– HOW you can be one of the few who offers both – by adding a small constraint releases you to deliver on both of these things.

The atmosphere will be very supportive and explorative, but also with everyone getting involved.

WHO IS RICHARD PASCOE?

Richard worked for Procter & Gamble (US Blue Chip) for 17 years, working in Sales, Market Research, and finally Global Learning & Development. For much of this time he was also the company’s Global Expert in Advanced Presentation Skills. This included training cross-functionally on all aspects of presentation skills.

Richard now runs a small company based in Leeds that supports companies across Europe and beyond in training and coaching great presentation skills. He has trained from late new hires setting off on their careers, through to senior executives with critical messages to share.
