“Getting Your Voice Heard”

Emma will provide:

  • An understanding of gender stereotypes and how this may impact your behaviour in the workplace
  • How you help or hinder your performance, and what you can do about it
  • Making requests assertively and how to be heard
  • Practical models for assertive delivery of feedback

Speaker biography – Emma Walker-Cotton is an organisational development specialist with over 20 years’ experience of training design and delivery in both the public and private sector, including working as a director for a large housing association and Amnesty International. She has won national training awards for her leadership and development programmes and helps organisations to implement organisational change. She is passionate about individuals having the opportunity to fulfil their potential and creates a positive, fun and stimulating learning environment. She always ensures that participants leave her event with practical skills they can use in their organisation. Emma has an MSc in Organisational Psychology and is qualified in running Psychometrics through the British Psychological Society.
