WISH Yorkshire & Humber - Stressed to Mindful

Women in Social Housing Network Yorkshire and Humber Branch are pleased to invite you to our latest workshop on 'Stressed to Mindful'.

We continue our theme of building resilience and helping you to deal with the stresses and strains of every day life and are pleased to announce our special guest speakers, Lucile Allen-Paisant, director of from Mind It and Jennifer Potter and Lise Ribeiro from Oasis School of Human Relations.

Lucile will help us look at the basics of wellbeing with a practical workshop including a series of short exercises, focusing on members own reactions to stress and specific challenges faced in their job roles, then looking to build healthy coping mechanisms and establish an ideal ‘healthy week balance’ they can refer to in the future.

You can also find out how to build resilience and wellbeing in your workplace with Jennifer Potter and Lise Ribeiro from Oasis School of Human Relations who will look at the five elements that make up a Whole Person approach to resilience and wellbeing. It will look at how they can be applied to the workplace to enable yourself and your work colleagues to be more engaged and happier at work. This is a simple but effective approach to managing your resilience through change and uncertainty by discovering what resource to nourish to cope with the demands placed on you.

Our speakers:

Lucile Allen Pisant is the founder of Mind It, an organisation which designs health and wellbeing programmes for mindful companies who are looking to motivate and reenergise their staff. It offers a range of holistic, unique and flexible services including team building, wellbeing training and strategies.

Lise Ribeiro and Jennifer Potter are based at Oasis School of Human Relations, a local not for profit business who have operated for nearly 30 years supporting individuals to perform to their full potential and organisations to develop globally responsible leadership. They offer a Resilience and Wellbeing Network for Northern organisations taking a proactive approach to creating great places to work for their employees.

So why not invest some time in you and come and join us for what promises to be an interactive and supportive session. There will be light refreshments from 09.30 am with a planned 10am start and end at 1pm with the opportunity to network.

This event is £5 for WISH members and £30.00 to non members.

It is also open to all housing people of any gender, places are limited so please book your tickets asap to avoid disappointment and should you wish to know more about the event please email [email protected]
