We’re currently looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to support the procurement strategy across our group, based in Portsmouth. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week.

Here’s the facts about the role:
As the Procurement Coordinator, you’ll support to the procurement manager and team, including assisting in the delivery of procurement reviews, projects and other forms of written communication. You’ll provide system administration for the Pro-Contract e-tendering system and be responsible for the maintenance of the supplier database, ensuring all supplier data and supplier assurance is managed in accordance with the financial regulations and appropriate regulations/legislation
You’ll ensure the supplier set-up process is fully adhered to and report any compliance concerns to Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Manager. You’ll process all new supplier requests and supplier amendments (including bank detail changes) in accordance with procedures to safeguard VIVID against fraud which means you’ll act independently of the finance team to ensure a segregation of duties is maintained at all times in the maintenance of suppliers data as part of our fraud prevention measures.
The successful candidate would have knowledge of procurement processes alongside experience of e-tendering systems, having experience in public sector procurement would be a benefit but not essential. You’lll be comfortable with change, welcoming it as an opportunity to grow, showing commitment to continuous professional development of self and others.
