We have a fantastic opportunity for a Performance Data Analyst to join our Data and Insight team at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Data and Insight Manager this role will be responsible for supporting with performance management and data reporting across Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG). You will lead on data reporting across all core WCHG systems and support users in maximising the use of the data they contain.

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • To lead in the development and implementation of reporting and information management tools and techniques;
  • To lead in the development and implementation of WCHG’s data extraction and reporting tools;
  • Define and maintain data standards for WCHG. Ensure all colleagues are aware of such requirements.
  • Undertake regular checks to maintain compliance.
  • Data Reporting Manage the distribution of reports, information and user guides throughout the organisation;
  • Train WCHG’s colleagues with the view to developing a knowledge management culture;
  • Manipulate databases and other data sources using a range of tools;
  • Ensure that WCHG stays compliant with all relevant legislation including data protection, copyright and intellectual property;
  • Monitor and review the performance of WCHGs information management systems, making amendments where necessary;
  • Lead and manage information management projects in line with an appropriate methodology and plan;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and third parties in order to ensure the provision of efficient, cost effective management reporting;
  • Devise and implement information management policies, procedures and user guides;
  • Assess technical developments and where required make adjustments to the organisations information management processes;
  • Manage the production and distribution of reports on both a structured and ad hoc basis
  • Performance Reporting To produce a range of reports and performance packs in line with agreed timescales for WCHG;
  • To produce ad-hoc reports on specific performance issues as required;
  • To attend the monthly Performance meeting and ensure that notes are taken for both the Performance and Finance elements of the packs;
  • To ensure that performance information is communicated to staff and customers in a clear manner;
  • To ensure that benchmarking data is submitted in line with timescales;
  • To challenge poor data quality within all WCHG systems;
  • To ensure that all performance information is accurately recorded and error free prior to publication;
  • To assist in the development of a performance management culture across WCHG by training users in covalent and supporting service reviews when required.
  • Power BI Create new reporting and maintain existing reporting developed in Power BI;
  • To provide user access and support on the system.
