YHN are excited to be recruiting one permanent Finance Business Partner and one 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover) to work within our busy Business Partnerships Team, supporting key frontline services to customers across the city.

The successful candidates will be a self-motivated individual who has experience of working in a busy finance department and who will embrace our values, bring energy to the team and enhance our business partnering services

What you’ll love about this job As a Finance Business Partner, you will have a key role in managing our organisations performance and ensuring the services we supply provide value for money. We are looking for someone who will embrace our values and team ethos to join us on our business partnering journey. The Business Partnerships Team play a pivotal role in a wide range of activities to support our strategic objectives including:

• Providing monthly management accounts and supporting performance information to enable essential insight into service delivery

• Play a key role in preparing and submitting statutory returns and management accounts for a group of companies

• Review existing, design and implement new business insight in the form of performance data or financial controls and models

• Analyse and advise on corrective action required to address poor financial and non-financial performance

• Be a trusted advisor to the services you support, playing a pivotal role in decision making

• Understanding key business drivers of the services we support.

What you need to do the job?

• Be passionate and enthusiastic about business partnering

• Have the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders’ decision making

• Highly developed leadership skills in the Business Partnering environment

• Have strong analytical, ICT and business acumen skills

• Work collaboratively and build strategic relationships with senior managers and external partners to achieve best outcomes for the business

• Committed to ongoing development
