Technology and Transformation is a new function responsible for delivering integrated solutions that improve the experience of our customers, maximise employee productivity, enable compliance and create a platform for commercial growth. As well as providing a great IT service, the team are responsible for steering change and supporting the rest of the business with programmes and projects to improve the delivery of our services to our customers and to ensure value for money.

Our approach to technology and digital is based around digital by design principles where our customers are at the heart of our service offer. We work closely with Newcastle City Council to ensure that our ICT infrastructure is secure and resilient and that our digital offer meets the growing expectations of our customers

As Business Analyst you will challenge the status quo, working with products owners and key stakeholders to shape and develop end-to-end business solutions. You will have strong analytical skills and the ability to apply various techniques to achieve the desired outcome such as undertaking ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ process mapping and translating business requirements into technical requirement and specifications

Successful integration of change into BAU is key to success, you will supporting by ensuring effective handover and including assisting the business with training plans. You will deliver a high level of second line support service as well as the system changes required to support the IT and Digital Strategy. In this role you would assist in the implementation, documentation, testing and support of ICT solutions, liaising with partner organisations, suppliers and customers. You would work closely with others in the Technology and Transformation teams to develop and deliver system improvements.

YHN manage more than 26,000 homes on behalf of Newcastle City Council. They provide a huge range of support services to their customers and have bold plans for the future.
