Assistant Director - Development


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an inspirational housing professional to lead our Development Team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business Growth and Resilience, the successful candidate will drive the delivery of the company’s new build development programmes, to produce high quality, sustainable and affordable accommodation. The Assistant Director will support organisational cultural change by inspiring and motivating key partners and colleagues to deliver our vision, values and strategic objectives, and the philosophy of the Magenta Way.

To be successful in your application you should have proven experience in a similar role and able to draw on experience to implement successful development planning. The successful candidate will have a relevant professional qualification such as RICS or CIOB and appropriate degree would be preferred.

You should be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle. The successful candidate will also need to work flexibly including evenings and occasional travel to national events.

This role is on a permanent basis working 37 hours per week, based in our modern head office in Birkenhead, Wirral. The office is easily accessible from most transport links with just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes. Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby.
