Compliance Project Manager (Fire, Asbestos and Electrical)

The Project Manager (Fire, Asbestos and Electrical) is an integral role within the Compliance Team, acting as the responsible person for ensuring Trent & Dove’s properties comply with relevant statutory landlord obligations and regulations across a range of service areas, including:

  • Fire Safety
  • Asbestos Safety
  • Electrical Safety
  • Lift Safety

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Operational Compliance Manager in the development and review of compliance-based Policy and Procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Trent & Dove stay fully compliant in fire safety, asbestos safety and M&E safety.
  • Ensure that robust integrated systems and management procedures are in placed to ensure all properties are compliant with regulatory and statutory legislation.
  • Support the development of Trent & Dove’s Asset Investment and Management strategy, by suggesting and guiding in respect of strategic goals.
  • Develop and manage a strong Contractor management Framework, ensuring that all contractors achieve the agreed SLA and contractual agreements.
  • Successfully manage both internal staff and contractors to ensure they are effective for the organisation.
  • To assist with any other required duties

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of working as a successful compliance professional within Social Housing
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical, fire and asbestos compliance.
  • NEBOSH qualification in fire safety or a relevant qualification and experience.
  • Full and clean driving license.
  • P402 in Asbestos
