Magna Housing - Chair and 2x Board Members, Dorchester

Based in Dorset with almost 9,000 homes, Magna are currently developing an ambitious new vision and strategy for the next decade, starting in April 2020.

In recent years the Board’s focus has been to increase financial capacity and organisational resilience, now with a new Chief Executive bringing fresh ideas and an ambition to do much more, they are looking to transform services, invest in and improve existing homes, and build as many new homes as capacity will allow.

The new Chair will inspire and shape the Board and will be a strong advocate for change. With considerable senior leadership and non-executive experience, you will bring a clear understanding of what good governance looks like, bringing insight and constructive challenge to the Executive and Senior Management Team.

Alongside the chair role they will have vacancies for up to 2 board members and they are particularly interested to hear from candidates with a housing development or customer experience and service transformation background.

For all 3 posts you don’t necessarily have to have a social housing background however you must identify with and relate to the key issues and potential opportunities this dynamic environment presents. Most of all you will bring energy and an enthusiasm to see Magna succeed and grow in the years to come.
