Technical Manager - Orbit, Maidstone Kent


As part of the technical team, you will lead a regional department consisting of a Technical Coordinator. Working alongside the Head of Technical, Regional Commercial and Technical Manager, you will continuously improve technical processes and procedures, product, standard house types and specifications.

You’ll have the opportunity to deliver the technical aspects of housing developments from the land stage through to site completion.

Candidate Requirements:

  • To be a strong applicant, we are looking for you to bring a wealth of experience in house building from a residential background and a good technical knowledge of civil engineering and building construction.
  • You’ll understand the relevant working knowledge of planning and building regulations involved, including NHBC, Highway Authority and Utility design requirements.
  • You’ll possess excellent communication and the relationship management skills necessary to develop and maintain effective partnerships at a senior level internally and externally to the organisation.
  • You will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent by experience.
