Hopeful Campaign – Message for Board Members

Share something new for 2022!

As you will be aware, Jo Richardson, President of the CIH, has chosen, as part of her Presidency, to fund raise to end youth homelessness through her #homeful campaign. The campaign has the strap line of 22 for 2022.

It’s a fantastic cause and I would love for @WISH to be involved!

We have so many skills between us, skills that extend well beyond the roles we carry out in the housing sector and my idea is that we share these skills (for a donation to the cause) to increase our networks and support each other.

So, what I’m looking for are at least 22 ideas/offers of skills Board members could share…. For a price to be donated.

There are all sorts of things we could offer I’m sure – from an online cookery or draft type of activity to an in person walking tour in a local area. I could (and will) for example, offer a wine tasting online event (gather friends together at your house, buy the wine I recommend, and I’ll take you through a tasting experience) or I could/can offer an individual skiing lesson at either somewhere like Castleford or a northern dry ski slope….

But I just know others will be able to offer so much more….

The idea is that we will collate a list of ‘offers’ and then silently auction these to raise funds.

Please contact me with what you could possibly offer….I just know we have so many skills and sharing these will only help to increase our networks as well as raising money for a fantastic cause!
