And it got me thinking.
What did I want to change? Where did I need to be bold?
You see, we work in the business of change. Every day. With individuals, teams and organisations. We work with an admirable list of corporate clients. Blue chip organizations that sign up to our programmes, and we help them to enable change with their leaders, with their team dynamics and their culture. We have learnt a lot over the years about what works and what doesn’t work. And we love it.
But…..there’s always a but! We just felt like that something extra special was missing. Call it divine inspiration, call it living on purpose, following your true north…who cares. It was something.
The something was being bold enough and brave enough to step out of the comfort zone of working with brand names and reaching out to working with people like you. I am not saying that we are moving away from this. Just adding on.
You see we have been there and done that. We have been on the end of the wonderful investment that you get in the corporate world and for the last 7 years we have been on the other side. Your side. Where there is no big budget to splash out on experts to help us grow and develop. There is nothing to help women like us. We have had to fund everything ourselves and work it out bit by bit. And that just isn’t good enough.
So the Bolt commitment to #beboldforchange is to reach out to women like you. Women that are either self-employed, or employed in a sector where there isn’t the resource to truly grow into their potential and forge a better working world – a more gender inclusive world.
We have created a Facebook group that has reached over 300 women in the space of two weeks. It is a place for women like you that want to create more time and space for themselves. Time and space to invest in themselves. To give more to themselves because in the words of L’Oréal…. you are worth it!
Our gift to you on IWD 2017 is for you to be #boldforchange with us and join our group where there will be regular tips, articles, FB lives and free downloads. Take control of your own development and create some change now!
Go into Facebook, search groups and ask to join Bolt Time Tribe
We look forward to seeing you there!
