Celebrating 20 Years Of WISH At CIH Brighton

With over 50 members and guests in attendance from across the sector, not only was it a great networking opportunity, but also an occasion to celebrate 20 years of WISH, with Nicola Dibb, Co-Founder and Executive Director of WISH, also celebrating with the WISH London team.

WISH was also delighted that CIH/Inside Housing also used our event to officially launch the Women In Housing awards 2018.  As a committed partner from when the awards started six years ago, we are so pleased to still be playing a part as the awards move into their next chapter with Ocean Media at the helm

We welcomed our guests speakers; Angela Lemon, Partner at calfordseaden; Marie-Clare Thom, Operations Director at Resourcing Group; and Jess McCabe, Features Editor at Inside Housing, part of the Ocean Media Group.

Of this years WIH awards, Jess said,

“They were launched six years ago and our intention is to build on these awards in the spirit of the great work that has already been done. We are here on International Women’s Day and this is a great way to celebrate the success and the great work people do in the sector.”

Nicola said of the event,

“The CIH drinks reception has become a regular feature in our members’ calendar, and this event was one of our most successful so far. It was great to meet with so many members and guests, especially on International Woman’s Day, launching WIH 2018 and in the year in which we celebrate 20 years of WISH.”
