The Perfect Job Pitch - WISH North West

Hosted by Anthony Taylor, and held at our WISH NW supporter Beevers and Struthers Manchester Office, Anthony presented a workshop on how we could improve our CV and also to bust some myths around how a CV should look, the information whilst based around CV's and preparing our selves for the next career move our position in the same organisation, could also be transferable to our Linkedin profiles.

The session gave attendees the opportunity to view the CV from a different approach, helping to build up meaningful examples of experience, through to creating  that short memorable catchy statement that helps you as individual stand out from the pile of other CV’s

The session was really interesting and provided a different perspective on how we can sell ourselves, and was very interactive allowing everyone the chance to put the learning into practice during the session.

Feedback from the workshop included:

“Interesting, interactive presentation with genuinely useful information. Both presenters were great – very engaging and informative”

“Thought provoking, challenged what you thought about the ‘norm’ and that you can be a bit creative!”

“Relaxed and engaging with real practical tips and tools”

“Very practical advice that could be applied to numerous situations”

“Atmosphere and a good facilitator”
