WISH Cumbria Summer News

WISH Cumbria had a successfu 'Mastering the Digital' event in June, with the guys from Comms Hero providing some top Twitter tips and advice. Attendees of the event have been upping their Twitter game on both personal and professional accounts - my favourite bit of advice from the event was to use pictures in your tweets as people love them!

We have an upcoming event on the 27th September “Inspirational Women in Property”, featuring Sally Fielding and Rachel Ritson. Sally runs a successful holiday lettings company, and is real “starting from nothing” story, having set up the business with just £1,000 and 1 cottage. Rachel is a managing director and owner of an estate agents where she originally joined as a part-time employee – a prime example of working your way to the top!

Another event we’re very excited about here at WiSH Cumbria is our Charity Christmas Gin Tasting evening to raise funds for the Cumbria Community Foundations Winter Warmth Appeal. Tickets cost £25 and for that you’ll get to try 8 gins and nibbles will be provided, Oh and some expert gin advice too! This takes place at Burgundy’s Wine Bar in Kendal on Friday 17th November between 7.00pm and 9.00pm.
