WISH London - Building Confidence Through Networking

WISH aims to bring women in housing together to empower, support, encourage and assist, by building confidence through networking and by arranging interesting and informative seminars to assist them with their day to day roles. The latest event was held on the 5th October and was kindly sponsored by Winckworth Sherwood LLP, which again, did not disappoint attendees.

Over 75 people registered to attend the event which was held at the lavish office of Winckworth Sherwood near London Bridge. The proceedings kicked off with a glass of prosecco and networking followed by an introduction to Winckworth Sherwood who provides a wide range of legal services to a diverse range of businesses, not for profit organisations and private individuals.

Introductions were followed by an engaging presentation by Anna O’Halloran from Just Housing Group on the topic of “Behavioural Insights and why we behave the way we do”.   The mood in the room was buoyant and vibrant with many guests participating with the presenter who answered all their questions.

When the presentation finished, attendees were given the opportunity to discuss further with the presenter personal experiences and how to implement the information learnt, while others enjoyed a delicious buffet and a variety of drinks.

The event was well received. Feedback from the event included:

“Great organisation and speaker, fantastic event, lovely people.”

“The speaker was very interesting and informative, the food was good and the wine went down a treat!”

The next WISH event is a breakfast event covering the topic of “Effective Utilisation of Social Media” and is being held on Thursday 9 November 2017 at 8:00 am – 10:00 am at Gardner Stewart Architects, 176 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8ET.

We look forward to seeing you there!
