We at WISH SW feel really lucky that the advent of widespread Zoom and Teams working means we were able to host two fantastic webinars, first hosting an insightful discussion with Sarah Sargent, Director of Customer Experience at Radian (now Abri) in June on engaging customers through the pandemic and beyond. That event saw members tune in from across the country to hear about the transformational work being undertaken to use all methods, old and new, to reach the unheard voices and to not accept echo-chamber feedback. 

After welcoming an almost entirely new board after this event, we have been working to reinvigorate the region’s activities and re-engage with members from each of its beautiful counties. To welcome in the new board we were delighted to hear from the truly inspirational Aileen Evans, Group Chief Executive of Grand Union Housing, and President of the CIH. With all that 2020 has chucked at the world, Aileen brought some genuinely heartfelt insight into coping and responding to stress and challenges.
