We are thrilled to announce that Tracey McEachran, President of Women in Social Housing (WISH), has been shortlisted for the Women in Housing and Housing Heroes Awards!

Out of over 300 entries received this year, Tracey's outstanding contributions have secured her a well-deserved place on the shortlist in the category of Board/committee member of the year.

Tracey's journey with WISH began in March 2019 when she assumed the role of Chair for the WISH London Board. With her extensive experience and dedication, Tracey revolutionised the London Board, instilling a sense of professionalism and expertise that propelled WISH London to new heights. Under her leadership, the board became well-governed, enthusiastic, and dedicated, setting a standard for excellence within our organization.

During her tenure, Tracey identified crucial areas for improvement, implementing innovative solutions to address skill gaps and promote team building. She facilitated CIC Board-level coaching, which revolutionized communication dynamics, making decision-making more democratic and effective.

Tracey's commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders in the housing sector is unparalleled. She championed the involvement of young professionals, delivering engaging and inspiring sessions that empowered WISH members to reach their full potential.

When faced with the challenges of the pandemic, Tracey spearheaded WISH's transition to online platforms, ensuring continued accessibility and popularity of our events. Her strategic vision and adaptability have been instrumental in sustaining WISH's mission during these unprecedented times.

In March 2023, Tracey's leadership journey reached new heights when she was appointed as the inaugural WISH President. With unwavering dedication, she brought to life the vision of amplifying women's voices through her #HearHerVoice campaign. This initiative has had a profound impact, empowering women across the sector to raise their voices and be heard.

We are immensely proud of Tracey's achievements and the positive impact she has had on the housing sector. Her nomination is a testament to her exemplary leadership and tireless advocacy for gender equality.
