We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Development Officer in the New Business Development Delivery Team. To help secure and build homes for our customers.

 

About the role:

The role of Development Officer is to help support the development delivery team in securing land and new build opportunities across the Northeast of England. It is wide ranging, in scope, no day is ever the same. You will be working on a pipeline of projects of over £500m, helping to deliver up to 600 homes per year

The role will require ongoing collaboration with colleagues, external consultants, and contractors. Joining a dynamic team, you will be up for the challenge of working in an exciting environment, where you can make a real difference to customers lives, providing support to the new business team. This role is available as secondment with agreement from your line manager.

 

About you:

You will understand housing and development, have background knowledge of what we do, have a great understanding of the Karbon values and display them in your current role. You will understand how we can make a difference. You’re keen to learn, you can problem solve, multitask and work collaboratively across Karbon as well as with external consultants, contractors and agencies.

  • Development Officer – fixed term role until end of September 2024
  • Salary is £35,345 per annum
  • Location: Greengates
  • Regular travel will be required.
  • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
