A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an inspirational housing professional to lead our Development Team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business Growth and Resilience, the successful candidate will drive the delivery of the company’s new build development programmes, to produce high quality, sustainable and affordable accommodation. The Assistant Director will support organisational cultural change by inspiring and motivating key partners and colleagues to deliver our vision, values and strategic objectives, and the philosophy of the Magenta Way.
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Business Systems Analyst for a position which plays a key role in ensuring the Association’s ICT assets and resources deliver the expected efficiencies and benefits from Muir Group’s investment in ICT. The successful candidate will be part of a passionate and dynamic Business Technology and Transformation Team responsible for delivering new IT systems and transformational business change to the Association. Muir have recently invested in a refresh of core business systems and the successful candidate will play a leading role in the continued support and development of these systems. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a Housing environment, however this is not essential for the right individual.

We need you to share your knowledge and expertise with us and you will be supported in your learning and development whilst gaining a mass of experience of the financial, operational and governance workings of a large, successful local organisation.
We are a value-orientated Housing Association working together to create communities where people want to live. We manage circa 5,500 homes over a wide geographical area and our residents include families, older people and those in need of special care and support. You will also need to comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including Executives, Board and Committee members. The main responsibilities will include: Provide clear, consistent and innovative leadership to staff within the Governance team and wider organisation ensuring the delivery of excellent Governance service across Muir Group Effectively develop, lead and implement the organisation’s strategies and frameworks for governance, employer’s health & safety, business support and facilities management Ensure the effective delivery of a coordinated, high quality, customer focused governance service to further the achievement of Muir’s strategic objectives. Work with the Board, Committees, Executive Management Team and any other constituted or delegated non-executive body, to ensure that first class governance structures and arrangements are in place to enable effective and proactive direction, management and control.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Protection Specialist for a temporary position which plays a key role in strengthening data protection, security and privacy arrangements within Muir Group. Reporting to the Assistant Director of People of Governance, the successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Management team, Joint Leadership Team, Governance Team, all managers, staff and wider stakeholders to ensure that appropriate data protection, security and privacy arrangements are not only in place but are embedded to enable compliant and effective management, control and processing of all personal data held by Muir. To succeed in this role, you will need to be action orientated, able to problem solve, able to manage multiple stakeholders, able to identify and manage risks and be confident when driving change and continuous improvement. You will also need to be comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including Executives, Board and Committee members. The main responsibilities will include: • Review, develop, improve, update and implement all data protection, security and privacy framework and related policy, procedure and processes across the Group ensuring that robust, effective and compliant arrangements are developed and are in place. This includes but is not limited to Information Asset Registers; Privacy Notices; Data Protection Impact Assessments; Data Sharing Agreements; Data Breaches, Subject Access Requests; Data Retention and Destruction. • Provide training, information, guidance, support and advice across the Group ensuring managers and staff are well informed and equipped to deal with data protection, security and privacy related matters • Ensure that data protection, security and privacy quality and control assurance processes are in place, are understood and supported throughout the Group and that recommendations / improvements are implemented effectively and in line with agreed timescales • Ensure that processes are in place to identify potential areas of data protection, security and privacy compliance vulnerability and risk • Ensure that the groups ICT and cyber security systems and arrangements comply with all data protection, security and privacy regulations, laws and requirements.
