Come and make a difference at Karbon as an Operations Surveyor! We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Operations Surveyor in the Responsive repairs Team.

 

About the role:

As a Property Services Surveyor, your primary responsibilities will involve carrying out damp and repair inspections in tenanted properties and recommending and arranging appropriate solutions. You will oversee customer permission requests and will liaise with key stakeholders on day-to-day repairs. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our properties, as well as the seamless ordering and procurement of necessary materials. Additionally, your support to the Operational manager will be essential in coordinating and executing maintenance projects efficiently.

About you:

The Operations Surveyor will be responsible for undertaking a whole range of maintenance surveys. You will need to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, identifying repair requirements, preparing reports and schedules of work, reporting and logging repairs, ordering materials etc. This is a customer facing role that requires excellent communication and customer service skills, a committed team approach, and a thorough understanding of current building practices in what is a fast moving repairs and maintenance environment.

 

About our team:

The successful candidate will work in our Responsive Repairs team led by the Operations Manager: However, you may be required to work across the Karbon footprint, which covers the Northeast.

  • Operations Surveyor
  • Permanent role.
  • Salary is £36,686 per annum.
  • Car payment of £2152 per annum. - £588 flexible pot (which can be used for salary top-up or to purchase a range of benefits).
  • Location: Throughout the North East.
  • 37 Hours per week.
