Magenta Living
Magenta Living is the largest registered housing provider in Wirral and a not-for-profit organisation, owning and managing c.12,800 properties and a turnover of c.£70m. Employing around 600 staff, we are a significant local employer demonstrated by Investors in People Gold standard and retaining our Customer Service Excellence certificate.
This is an exciting time to be joining Magenta Living with an exciting Growth Strategy where, amongst other key ambitions, we aim to build 1,000 new homes over the next five years and continue to invest heavily in our communities. Our Magenta Way a transformational change programme which has been in place since 2018 is making significant improvements in our approach to the service we offer and how we deliver them to customers.
As part of our board succession plan we are looking to appoint at least one board director to join the Magenta Living Board and be appointed as a member of our Group Audit and Risk Committee. We are looking for energy, ambition and extensive knowledge and experience in social housing finance. We are also keen to receive applications from those with a good knowledge of development finance.

Previous Non-executive director experience is not essential as we provide a rigorous induction programme and tailored support for new board members.

Board meetings are held bi-monthly on Thursdays, 5:30pm-8:00pm. Group Audit and Risk Committee meetings are held quarterly on Thursdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm.
The closing date for applications is 10:00am Monday 14th February 2022. The Final Interviews will be held in person (restrictions permitting) on 21st March 2022. Our aim is for new Board Directors to attend their first committee meeting on 5th May and Board Meeting on 26th May 2022.
