Connexus is a community-focused rural housing group with over 10,500 homes across Shropshire and Herefordshire, a £56m turnover and up to 600 staff. We are an organisation that wants to grow, not just to provide new homes, but to place greater emphasis on the issues that matter most to our customers.

The Director of People post is a new role. You will be joining a well-established team of Directors where you can contribute to the development of the organisational strategy and plans, sharing joint responsibility for delivery and have a clear focus on the future as well as the here and now. With a proven track record of operating at a senior level you will develop and deliver the People/OD/HR strategies which support the Corporate Strategy, promote and deliver on organisational change ensuring to create positive employee relations, and lead on the branding and insight for the business.

We’re looking for a people-focused leader who will inspire our staff, have a passion for the issues that face us, and a track record of delivery. This role offers a unique chance to make an impact and difference to both Connexus, and the wider sector.
