A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join our forward thinking, high performing and ambitious Asset Sustainability Team.


This role is a permanent full time basis working 37 hours per week.

The role will initially be home-based with options for hybrid working moving forward. However, there will be a requirement to attend meetings at our head office in Birkenhead and other locations for stock visits as deemed necessary to fulfil your role and complete training.

The role of Stock Condition Surveyor reports directly to the Asset Sustainability & Data Manager.

The overall purpose of the role will be to undertake Asset Surveys on our housing stock and other properties/land. inspect all major components in accordance with the Decent Homes standard and ensure our Asset Management Data is correctly maintained.

You will be someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail and positively contribute to the role and team you work in. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential and to be able to work with colleagues of all levels, both internal and external. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must and ideally you will be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office packages.

Asset Sustainability & Data Team:

The Asset Sustainability & Data Team consists of 8 other ambitious, accountable and adaptable colleagues including another Stock Condition Surveyor. The team currently are working to ensuring data is correct for suitable sustainability investment to hit government carbon targets. We are both Silver SHIFT accredited and a Top 20 UK Sustainable Housing Provider of the Year due to our sustainability activity. This truly is an exciting time to join our team.

 

Sustainable Training & Development Opportunities:

The Asset Sustainability & Data Team are ambitious in approach and aim to further solidify our status as a sector leader within the Climate Change/Sustainability sphere. Training and development opportunities are present for the successful applicant inclusive of Domestic Energy Assessor, PAS2035 Retrofit Assessment and even Thermal Drone Piloting. On top of this, a buddy system with the teams current Stock Condition Surveyor as well as regular contact and development with the Asset Sustainability & Data Manager will be available.
