A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Training and Development Advisor to join our busy HR & Organisational Development team.
This role is a permanent, full time role working 37 hours per week, based in our modern head office in Birkenhead, Wirral. The office is easily accessible from most transport links with just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes. Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby.
The role of Training and Development Advisor forms part of a small OD function that reports directly to the Assistant Director of HR and OD.
You will be providing a comprehensive training and development service to meet the strategic objectives of Magenta Living and develop a culture of continuous learning throughout the organisation.
You will be required to take ownership of the training and development programme ensuring that it meets our statutory and regulatory requirements, but also our ambition to develop our own talent pool for succession and future leaders. You will be required to source and deliver a wide and varied range of training and development requirements ensuring the best quality and best value for money. You will also engage with training providers, other housing associations and further education establishments. You will be a key part in driving the digital agenda within the HR&OD team as we look to develop digital solutions for appraisals and one to one meetings.
You will be someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail and positively contribute to the role and team. You will possess the ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks and work with colleagues at all levels, both internal and external. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must and ideally you will be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, preferably Office 365.
Training and development
A full induction will be given to help you settle into your new role with an opportunity to meet new colleagues and find out more about Magenta Living. Training will include both e-learning and on the job training.
