An exciting opportunity has arisen at the National Housing Federation (NHF) for an interim Head of Business Development. We are looking for someone who can effectively manage and grow our existing commercial relationships and who can also lead a thorough review of our current approach to Business Development in the run-up to the NHF’s next three year business strategy due to start from April 2025.
Our Business Development team generates commercial income through partnerships with commercial companies who want to access our members. The team ensure that companies we partner with deliver services and products that are relevant to our members’ business needs, and that they share our ethos.
The Business Development team is also responsible for negotiating deals with companies to provide support and services to members free of charge as a benefit of the NHF membership. The NHF is the voice of housing associations in England. We are the trade body to almost 600 housing associations, who have grown from philanthropic roots to provide 2.6 million homes to around 6 million people.
