I am happy to say the London region has been going strong over the autumn months, having delivered three great webinars and lots of other successes to celebrate.
The theme of the three autumn webinars has been personal self development the first of which was delivered by the talented coach Gemma Brown on the theme of confidence and managing your own career. We continued the theme with four amazing speakers, Marie O’Brien, Jessica Carr, Alex Galviz and Chyrel Brown for our Finding Your Voice webinar in November. We ended the year with our Christmas Drinks party, first listening to two very motivational women Angie Beeston and Joan Myers. The whole session ended with a zoom dance, the energy was fab. Here is what one of the attendees said about the event in a message via Linked in
“Hi Tracey, I attended my first WISH event last night, an absolute joy and a good change from the normal zoom meets. You're positivity and enthusiasm really shone through, thank you :) xx”
We have had a busy year and I would like to bring special attention to three of the women on the London board. Firstly congratulations to Kathryn Gundry (nee Thomas) who got married this autumn and also won the Habinteg 2020 Prize essay, crediting her mum as the inspiration for her essay. Also congratulations to Tanya Srikandan for the birth of a beautiful boy, Holden on the 7th October. Finally a big congratulations to Kemi Oguntoye for her work leading young wish.
So that brings me to just say thank you to the London board and all our London members for making 2020 a little more bearable. I would also like to give a huge thank you to two fantastic board members that have stepped down this year due to work commitments, Eleanor Ball and Aisha Vance, you shall be missed.
Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.
