WISH, the only member-based network for women working across every discipline of UK housing, has welcomed new Chairs of the board at its North West and Yorkshire and Humberside regions.
WISH Yorkshire and Humberside warmly welcomed new board members to the team in the Summer.
WISH support the annual WIH Awards Now in its seventh year, the Women In Housing Awards held in Manchester in early October is getting bigger and bigger and was an amazing opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women in the sector from all over the UK.
On the 12th September 2019 WISH Yorkshire and Humberside held a fantastic event called 'Secrets to Success' at Capsticks LLP's offices in Leeds City Centre.

An interactive, informative and practical morning allowing those attending to explore how they present, how they want to present and what this actually feels like.
On Thursday 23rd May, WISH Yorkshire hosted an event on Change & Personal Resilience. The session was kindly hosted by Savills in Leeds and was run by Mark Turnbull from Do-Well (UK) Ltd.

Welcome from WISH Yorkshire, we've had a busy year so far including a brand new website and logo! We hope you like it as much as we do.
A wonderful afternoon delivered by Richard Pascoe from 'Making Presentations' and hosted by Leeds Federated Housing Association. 26 people from across the region and a visitor from the North West all jumped in feet first to participate in 'Dare to be (a little bit) different'.
Following ever popular demand, we held another successful Secrets of Success event in the WISH Yorkshire and Humber region. The event was really well attended by people from various stages in their career and received all who attended gave great feedback.
'Social media and me' proved to be a popular session as many of us know we should really 'do' social but we're not really sure how! Our board member (and comms guru) Caroline Chapman, was joined by the talented Hannah Jowett of Leeds Federated to take us on a whistle stop tour of how to get our social media in order!
Here in Yorkshire our WISH regional events programme is about helping you #unlockyournetwork and create connections with like-minded individuals in the sector.
The holidays were over. Winter colds had set in. We have bills to pay and Leeds was offering us what can only be described as tumultuous weather - however nearly 50 brave women from across Yorkshire gathered together in the fantastic Dirty Martinis for our brilliant beat the January blues event!
