WISH Yorkshire Celebrates International Women’s Day 2024

WISH Yorkshire proudly hosted an empowering event to mark International Women’s Day 2024, held at South Yorkshire Housing Association. Attendees were treated to an inspiring lineup of speakers, networking opportunities, and a delightful lunch, creating a vibrant atmosphere of celebration and support for women in the social housing sector.

The event featured four exceptional speakers: Kay Dickinson, Katarina Fidler, Lindsay Parker, and Liz O'Connor, who shared their personal journeys and insights.

Katarina Fidler, Director of Operations at Fortem Solutions, highlighted the importance of women entering the social housing sector and the opportunities it offers for growth and resilience.

Lindsay Parker, Programme Manager at Riverside, delivered a heartfelt talk, drawing inspiration from her mother's resilience and sharing valuable life lessons.
