For our December drinks event, hosted by RSM in Birmingham we were delighted to have a truly enviable panel of guests. Hosted by CIH's former president and housing guru, Alison Inman, expertly guided our panel through a conversation about their stories to leadership, their bouts of imposter syndrome and teasing out some hilarious stories along the way!
WISH support the annual WIH Awards Now in its seventh year, the Women In Housing Awards held in Manchester in early October is getting bigger and bigger and was an amazing opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women in the sector from all over the UK.

It's been a busy start to the year for us at WISH Midlands. We kicked off with a leadership session in January, kindly hosted by Housing and Care 21 in Birmingham. The session gave attendees the opportunity to hear how the world of business and leadership is changing, and what they can do to make a positive impact on their organisation's success.
Following on from its recent session on public speaking, WISH Midlands is looking forward to hosting its final event of 2018!
WISH Midlands has had a busy start to 2018, kicking off in January with a wellness workshop. The networking session gave members practical tools to increase resilience and manage stress - key skills essential to housing professionals asked to do more with less.
The last few months has seen the blossoming of a new WISH Region for the Midlands. The networking group aims to connect women from a range of housing-focused organisations to provide them with support, mentoring, training and career opportunities.
