WISH support the annual WIH Awards Now in its seventh year, the Women In Housing Awards held in Manchester in early October is getting bigger and bigger and was an amazing opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women in the sector from all over the UK.

WISH London have had a busy start to the year hosting two sell out events 'How to develop the right career strategy' and a joint event with the Housing Forum at the Brighton CIH. We have also welcomed a new Chair and Board members.

We had a full house at our last event, with a highly engaged audience putting some great questions to the expert panel. The whole session was excellently facilitated by Elly Hoult Programme Director NHGhousing.

WISH London - Christmas Party News
WISH aims to bring women in housing together to empower, support, encourage and assist, by building confidence through networking and by arranging interesting and informative seminars to assist them with their day to day roles. Our most recent event was the annual Christmas Party, which is always a sell out and a success for obvious reasons! This took place at the end of last year on the 6th December at The Alice.
The rain subsided and the sun shone for the WISH Golf Day which was held at the prestigious Blackheath Golf Club on the 13th September. WISH was delighted to see over 40 enthusiastic women put their skills to the test and receive instruction from professionals in the principles of playing golf with the additional benefits of putting their new learned skills to the test on the driving range and putting green.
WISH London - Building Confidence Through Networking
WISH aims to bring women in housing together to empower, support, encourage and assist, by building confidence through networking and by arranging interesting and informative seminars to assist them with their day to day roles. The latest event was held on the 5th October and was kindly sponsored by Winckworth Sherwood LLP, which again, did not disappoint attendees.

WISH London Summer Networking Reception
WISH London held their annual Summer Networking Reception on 6 July 2017 at the offices of JLL, who specialise in commercial real estate services and investment management, in Warwick Street, London. The event was very kindly sponsored by JLL and attended by over 100 WISH members and non-members.
New Chair For WISH London, Erica Carras
WISH London is delighted to introduce their new chair, Erica Carras, a Principal Risk and Safety Consultant at Walker Management Ltd, a construction consultancy specialising in Project Management in the social housing sector.
We are looking for a new Chair to provide leadership and support for London region of WISH. WISH (London) is the longest established and largest and region within WISH. It has approximately 150 members and attracting on average 60 people to a WISH event.
