WISH Yorkshire & Humber - Autumn Newsletter

WISH Yorkshire and Humberside warmly welcomed Rachel Collins (Capsticks), Jane Atherton (Hooga Consulting), Shelley Williams (Bevan Brittan), Lindsey Hobson (J Tomlinson) and Kirsty Yates (Guinness Partnership) as new WISH Yorkshire Board Members in the summer of 2019. 

We also sadly said good bye, hugely thanked and wished all the best in the future to Hannah Jowett, Sam Young and soon to be leaving Lizzie House too.

WISH Yorkshire & Humber would like to recruit a further 2-3 Board Members to help with events, membership and treasurer duties - so if you are interested please get in touch by emailing yorkshire@wishgb.co.uk or on twitter @WishYork_Humber 

We also welcomed new Corporate Members Incommunities HG, Accent HG and returning members Yorkshire Housing, Bevan Brittan and Berneslai Homes in the summer.

The fantastic "Secrets to Success" event was hosted by Capsticks in September when we discussed and listened to the inspiring career journeys of Tina Drury (Your Homes Newcastle), Lisa Geary and Rachel Heenan (Capsticks) and Jenny Baines (Accent Housing & GEM Programme graduate) and many regional WISH members. We are now building on this success and will be holding the following events:

1. Festive Drinks and Networking Event at Capsticks on 5th December (2-6pm) where Sarah Stanley will be facilitating a fun networking session followed by drinks and nibbles.
2. Board Skills, Diversity & Leadership Event, 5th March 2020 Venue TBC. Where brilliant role models like Geraldine Howley will be chairing, Liz Cross facilitating and Alison Inman joining us to provide our members with an excellent and thought provoking session. 
3. Agile Working - Strategies and Culture Change will be held in June 2020. Date, venue and timings to be confirmed - do look out for further details about this topical and practical learning event.
