WISH Yorkshire & Humberside Spring Newsletter

Here in Yorkshire our WISH regional events programme is about helping you #unlockyournetwork and create connections with like-minded individuals in the sector.

We kick started this with our fantastic beat the January blues event which welcomes women from across the region to join us in a spot of cocktail making and networking. Our event was a resounding success and we’ll even be inviting some new ambassadors to join us shortly after they expressed interest at the event.

Upcoming events in the region include ‘social media and you’ led by our very own comms guru, Caroline Chapman, Marketing and Communications manager for Incommunities group who will be joined by Hannah Jowett of Leeds federated Housing Association to give a practical hands on advice on how to use your social media to greater effect. We’re also looking forward to welcoming you to our “Secrets of Success” event at Yorkshire Housing where we will be joined by Angela Perry, Deputy Chief Executive,  Incommunities and Lisa Pickard, Chief Executive, Leeds and Yorkshire HA, who will share with us their journey to the top. We can’t wait!

We also have a fun summer social planned and other events for later in the year include ‘Getting Your Voice Heard’ and an exciting event for the Autumn in collaboration with WISH North West called Kickstart Your Career with Mentoring.

Our aim is to help our members connect and develop so we always want to hear from you! if you would like to get involved, sponsor an event, have an office space we can use or have any ideas for a topic or issue you would like us to cover get in touch!
